What
BISD teachers say about the training in Reading:
"I have seen great results using the Language Enrichment program. Before using it, my students began to read after Christmas holidays. Now that I am using Language Enrichment, my students began to read by November and December…" Nelda Anne
Lopez, 1st grade teacher, JT Canales Elementary School
"The
Language Enrichment I Reading Program has provided my students in 2nd
grade the necessary skills to acquire fluency in reading. It was amazing to
hear students apply the reading strategies learning in Language Enrichment 1
while reading. Rusty, an
eight-year-old second grader once
screamed in the library while reading an accelerated book, “Wow, look
here, it’s a final stable syllable-‘ble' and here’s another one ‘ple’.
He was able to carefully sound out the work and showed a happy smile
on his face at having met success in decoding a long difficult work.
Now, that’s what every teacher wants to see-a successful reader! Virginia
Molina, 2nd grade teacher, Villa Nueva Elementary School
"I
have been teaching for the past eighteen years. I have been exposed to many reading programs.
I have learned many strategies, but this has been the program that I
have seen more results… Vangie Chavez,
1st grade teacher, Longoria Elementary School
Over the past 3 years
